Teledyne Marine at Oceanology International 2026

Teledyne Marine exhibited at Oceanology International 2026 (Oi26) in London from 10–12 March 2026, where it showcased new sonar, navigation and autonomous marine technologies. The company revealed an exclusive new product and introduced its integrated dual‑head SeaBat T51 multibeam systems, which delivered improved survey efficiency and data quality. The event also marked Teledyne RESON’s 50th anniversary, celebrated with a champagne reception. Visitors explored AUVs, the Slocum Sentinel glider and the global Redwing mission. Live on‑water demonstrations aboard the Maplin showed the SeaBat T51‑R and Compact Navigator performing in real survey conditions.

Teledyne Marine experienced a fantastic three days at Ocean Business 2019, sharing our many new products, customer case studies, dockside and on-water demonstrations with our customers and global representatives. Among the many highlights, and the biggest draw, was our new full size Sea Raptor AUV and our mocked up ROV, both outfitted with a full suite of Teledyne sonars, sensors, and instruments.

Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop Europe 2018 - October 9-11 in Cannes

Building upon our US events, Teledyne Marine hosted its first European Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop (TMTW) on October 9-11 in Cannes, France. Over 150 customers from around the globe converged on the not-so-sunny shores of beautiful Cannes to attend this year's event, which included:

- TWO AMAZING KEYNOTE SPEAKERS including including Oliver Steeds, Founder, Chief Executive and Mission Director of Nekton, a charitable research institute dedicated to the exploration of the deep ocean, who gave an inspired speech on new deep sea discoveries and our responsibilities as stewards of our oceans; followed by Dr Alain Maguer, NATO’s Centre of Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE), who detailed the organization’s vast field of work, including the use of Teledyne Marine products and technologies.

- FORTY CUSTOMER PRESENTATIONS detailing their utilization of Teledyne Marine products and technologies for applications spanning ports & harbors, civil engineering, oceanography, dredging, defense, offshore energy, hydrography and hydrology. Our users have the greatest understanding of how our products perform, and happily shared their highly valuable field experience, technical tips, and lessons learned.

- THIRTY FIVE PRODUCT AND SOFTWARE TRAINING CLASSES conducted by Teledyne Marine’s technology experts. Topics covered our full spectrum of product offerings, ranging from introductory sessions to multi-day training tracks.

- SEVEN DOCKSIDE DEMONSTRATIONS focused on Teledyne Marine's vehicles, sensors, and combined system capabilities, which depicted several unique scenarios, including civil engineering, port and harbor security, and multi-vehicle collaboration. Despite the rainy weather, all sessions were filled to capacity by our die-hard attendees.

- TWO BOATS RUNNING TWENTY-FOUR ON-WATER DEMONSTRATIONS of our collective imaging technology, including several of RESONs multibeams and Oceanscience underway rapidCAST system.

- ELEVEN INDUSTRY PARTNERS AND SUPPLIERS sharing their relevant products and services as official TMTW event exhibitor / sponsors, thus further expanding the technical content available for TMTW attendees to discover.

Teledyne Marine recently joined over 60,000 other energy professionals at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, TX to discuss the current state of the industry, and showcase new technologies and solutions. The Teledyne Marine team at OTC, over 30 strong, engaged our customers in technical discussions and new product updates both on the show floor and in the VIP suite in the NRG stadium.

Teledyne Marine invites you to join us for our newly expanded Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop in which speakers, influencers, and attendees from around the globe will converge to explore, learn, and share their experiences on a broad range of technologies.

TMTW offers a packed, non-stop schedule that truly offers something for every level of users, from novice to seasoned pro.

This three-day workshop, which is preceded by a full day of networking opportunities, will include customer presentations, product/software training, field service meetings, networking opportunities, and on-water demonstrations provided by Teledyne Marine’s top-tier oceanographic manufacturers.

A combination of over 24 classroom training sessions, 8 dockside and test tank demonstrations, ongoing on-water hydrographic demonstrations, and 15 new product launches kept customers busy and engaged at a highly successful Ocean Business earlier this month.

Kicking off the week with our first combined Agents and Representatives meeting, Ocean Business started with a flurry of activity as global agents representing our full spectrum of brands came together to learn more about the latest Teledyne Marine activities, including the fifteen new products being launched, personnel changes, and on-going marketing ventures. We would like to thank everyone who registered and attended our pre-show event - we hope you enjoyed your time with us and found it to be a valuable afternoon.

Throughout the three days of exhibiting, over thirty-five demonstration and training sessions were delivered covering new products and technologies, new and on-going projects, and recent case studies. These were well attended and many sparked some interesting and in-depth conversations between our personnel and both existing and potential customers. Amongst these were dockside and test tank demonstrations of various Teledyne Marine products. The Oceanscience Z-Boat and SeaBotix ROV proved to be popular hits on the sunstroked dockside, with attendees piling through the door to try and get a view of our pilots maneuvering the vehicles up and down the harbor.

Ocean Business, and the atmosphere it brings, proved to be the perfect platform to introduce fifteen new products to market. From the smallest of LED lamps to our fleet of Slocum Gliders, to the most comprehensive multibeam echsounders and compact DVL - the Teledyne Marine booths were packed with new demonstration and equipment displays. Product development is at the heart of our ethos, and launching new systems designed with new features and better performance ensure we continue to meet the industry's changing needs. Technology Focus Days - China 2017

Underwater Technology Seminar in Copenhagen 2013 - Our largest Multibeam Sonar Seminar ever in Europe

We hosted the European Underwater Technology Seminar, September 16th to 19th in Copenhagen. The seminar was a 3-day event focusing on new sonar technology and it had well over hundred delegates plus speakers and technology partners. It makes it our largest European seminar, since we started the yearly seminar concept.

We had put together an extensive educational program including international paper presentations, hands-on class room training, workshops with our technology partners, demo boat tours and a factory visit to the Teledyne RESON headquarters.

All the companies of the newly formed Teledyne Marine Acoustic Imaging Group , including RESON, BlueView and Odom Hydrographic, were present at the seminar. It became clear that our customers now have access to a whole range of underwater imaging solutions. There was a great deal of interest in the Teledyne Odom Hydrographic and the Teledyne BlueView demos and workshops. Francis Freire, a PHD at Stockholm University said: “I realised that Teledyne has a full range of multibeam sonars which allows you to select exactly the one you need, depending of the needs you have”.

All our technology partners also experienced a lot of interest from the delegates, who were eager to learn about new technologies and products. Throughout the seminar there was a good atmosphere and the social events called for late nights in Copenhagen.

We would like to thank all the delegates who attended the seminar as well as the technology partners and speakers for making this event a success.

Teledyne RESON Underwater Technology Seminar - Shanghai 2013

Under the theme “Discover new opportunities in multibeam sonar solutions”, we had an exciting and inspiring 1-day program in Shanghai, China.

Overwhelming participation at the 2013 UTS in Shanghai

From the day’s start the numbers of attendees exceeded our expectations. When Thomas Meurling, Vice President of Sales at Teledyne RESON, started presenting the new Feature Pack 4 for SeaBat 7125 as well as the portable SeaBat T20-P, the conference was packed with more than 200 attendees.

As the day progressed, the English speakers (with translations in Mandarin) were followed by presentations in Mandarin (with translations in English). It was clear that being able to discuss sonar technology in their mother tongue was much appreciated by the Chinese attendees.

Beside the newest Sonar technology from Teledyne RESON, the attendees were also presented with a variety of technology from Teledyne BlueView, Teledyne Odom, Caris, AML, Applanix and IxBlue.

In the afternoon Shiahn-Wern Shyue, Ph.D. and Associate Professor at the National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan presented his paper: “Fish Detection and Distribution by using Multibeam Water Column Images around Artificial Reefs” (Appears in the interview above).

Professor Zhou Xinghua from First institute of Oceanography, SOA presented his paper: “RESON SeaBat7125 Multibeam Sonar is Applied in The Detection of Seabed Pipelines”.

Director Zhangliang from Shanghai Maritime safety Administration presented his paper: “Methods of improving accuracy of Multibeam survey” .

The final guest speaker was Li Sujiang, President at the Tianjin Port & Waterway Prospection and Design Research Institute co, LTD. His presentation was titled “Dredging Application of RESON Multibeam Sonar” .
